Neveda Capital Group Inc / 727 3A OZONE MONITOR

Description

727-3A OZONE MONITOR
For Mast Development 700 Series Test Chambers

Theory of Operation
Upon entering the instrument, the sample is diverted by the gas valve into the catalytic converter which selectively changes any ozone present to oxygen. This sample, with no ozone, then passes though the absorption chamber where the detector measures the amount of ultraviolet light transmitted through it. Upon completion of this cycle, the valve is activated and the sample containing ozone is passed through the absorption chamber. The absorption by ozone of the ultraviolet radiation at a wavelength of 254nm is measured at the sample detector, and displayed in parts-per-million (ppm) ozone.
